This programme develops highly skilled teaching assistants who can support teachers and students effectively. Key learning areas include:
- Supporting Teaching & Learning – Assisting teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Child Development & Safeguarding – Understanding child psychology, behaviour management, and safeguarding protocols.
- Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – Providing tailored support to diverse learners.
- Encouraging Positive Behaviour – Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Developing Literacy & Numeracy Skills – Supporting students with English and Maths interventions.
- Assessing Student Progress – Monitoring and recording student performance to support teaching.
Apprentices will also gain Maths and English Level 2 qualifications (if not already achieved).
